TCI has a focus on empowering its member organizations of persons with psychosocial disabilities to lead advocacy at the national level and has been utilizing the “Microgrants program” since 2020 as one of the instruments. The program has supported members in building partnerships at the national level with disability stakeholders, including the cross disability and government stakeholders, for advocacy and inclusion of persons with psychosocial disabilities in the development process. Until today, TCI has completed three successful cycles of microgrants in 2020, 2021-2022, and 2023-2024, respectively.
In continuation to our collaboration with Mariwala Health Initiative, to strengthen OPD movement specifically in the South East Asia region, we are pleased to share with you that TCI has launched a new cycle of its microgrants. TCI aims to work with its member organizations to strengthen their advocacy at the national level and also support membership expansion of TCI in other South East Asian countries.

- Deinstitutionalization and Community Inclusion of persons with psychosocial disabilities by promoting inclusive, CRPD compliant community support systems and services
- Inclusion of youth, gender diverse and persons with psychosocial disabilities from intersectional identities in development processes
- Climate Justice and Inclusion of Persons with Psychosocial Disabilities
- Access to justice, legal capacity and participation of persons with psychosocial disabilities in decision making processes
